So do you need a night with the girls? Or just the guys? Or with the whole family?
Then check out Walk on Water.
My girlfriends and I get together once a month and try our best to not just sit around and gossip, we try different activities. Getting five (5) women to
agree on an activity is challenging. Some of us swim and some of us are deathly afraid of water and so agreeing to try stand up paddle boarding was definitely outside our comfort zone.
It helped that that Walk on Water was well prepared for our different athletic abilities and was super supportive as we learned the art of paddling. I
myself can swim but my upper arm strength could use some work and so when trying to get somewhere I struggled. However, when allowed to just float on the
board while the current pulled me watching the beautiful surroundings of our coastal bays with great company – AMAZING.
I won’t be the super fit mom performing yoga sun salutations while on a stand up paddle
board, but you will see me floating by!
Have you tried a stand up paddle board yet? Will you this summer?
Thanks for reading.
