Phishing relies on unsuspecting people who take a situation at face value without researching whether it’s legitimate. They are the weakest link in your security chain, and are most likely to be tricked into sending money or information to imposters.
Fraud attacks can come via e-mails, instant messages, texts or phone calls. Phishing scammers make their communication look and sound legitimate, and they get more sophisticated each year.

Regular anti-fraud training will keep your employees aware of the latest schemes and attacks. Be sure they know what information you consider sensitive or proprietary – the data that should never be released without an approved reason.
