Deeley Serves is having a busy start to the year! We kicked off 2024 sponsoring the 30th Annual Penguin Swim, raising funds for Atlantic General Hospital. We’ve been volunteering at the new Perdue Henson Junior Achievement Center, where we teach financial literacy and job preparedness to students from across Delmarva. We’ve spent several rewarding evenings prepping and serving meals to the hungry at Hope and Life Outreach in Salisbury. And since February is a great month to spread the love even more, we’ve been donating to several worthy causes in our community.
The 2nd Annual Marlins for Mason is a Billfish Release Tournament raising funds for Mason Prather, a 5-year-old member of the Ocean City fishing community who lives with Dravet Syndrome, a rare, catastrophic and lifelong form of epilepsy that significantly affects all aspects of life. We’re sponsoring the Eastern Shore Diabetic Foundation‘s upcoming Bowling Tournament fundraiser at Southbound Alley in Fruitland. (Deeley Community Association Advisor Melissa Esham pictured with the amazing Katie Rimel.)
And we’re supporting the Pocomoke City Elks Lodge and their cash raffle fundraiser, coming up on May 18, 2024. (Deeley Client Relations Agents Lorie Northam and Naomi Waters pictured.)
Service is at the heart of everything we do, and we’re proud to give back to the communities we serve. Looking for a service opportunity for you and your family? Join us at Furnace Town’s Spring Clean Up Day on Saturday, March 16 from 10 am – 2 pm in Snow Hill.
