News stories are popping up every day about cyber liability. How does that affect our community associations? What is being stored in your computer or out
in the cloud that could be considered a data breach?
During emergency evacuations, I took a thumb drive that included a copy of the current owner’s roster of the community I managed with phone numbers, emails
and all the insurance policies for the associations. When I returned, I threw that thumb drive in my desk. What if someone discovered all of that
information and learned private information about the homeowners? Even Community Associations need to protect themselves from data breach.
