March is Red Cross Month.
It is almost as good as peanut butter and chocolate – I love when two of my favorite things combine. Wawa is partnering with the Red Cross to raise funds and celebrate their special month. From March 2nd to May 3rd,
all coin donations at the register will go to the Red Cross. I get my morning cup of coffee while giving my change over to an organization I love.
With so many great organizations why is the Red Cross my favorite? Three words: Emergency Preparedness Apps. I have downloaded the flood and hurricane preparedness apps to my phone. I’ve learned great statistics about national
disasters AND taken quizzes to test my knowledge. Being emergency prepared is way more fun with apps!
