Over the summer, HALO (Hope and Life Outreach) in Salisbury proudly served its 1,000,000th meal — a milestone that represents not just meals handed out, but lives touched, hope offered, and community built. What began as a mission to serve those in need through a warm plate of food has grown into a life-changing ministry that provides dignity, compassion, and care to every guest who walks through their doors.
Deeley Insurance Group proudly supports HALO as one of our agency’s three spotlight charities. Each month, our Deeley Serves Crew volunteers their time and energy to serve dinner to our neighbors in need. We often bring our spouses and parents, our children and their friends to serve with us. Many hands make light work, and the positive energy we bring to the cafe stays with the guests even longer than the delicious desserts we bake for them.
