HALO has been serving the greater Salisbury community since 2007, providing meals, shelter, and a hand up – not a handout – to the homeless and those in need. Their goal is to help rebuild the dignity of each person by providing services to not only meet their basic needs but to encourage guests to move forward in life.
The Deeley Serves Crew volunteers in the HALO cafe, serving meals to shelter residents and members of the public. We hold food drives to provide much-needed pantry staples and donation drives for the HALO Bargain Center on Snow Hill Road, a main source of HALO’s funding.
For every $2.10 you spend at the Bargain Center, you have ensured a meal for someone who is homeless and hungry. When you spend $25.00 you have provided a place to sleep, shower and a meal for a mom and child.
