The FMCSA has again extended its emergency declaration of relief from federal regulations. The declaration applies to motor carriers providing direct assistance in coronavirus relief efforts, but is more limiting than the May 13 extension, which covered a wider range of categories. Even with Hours of Service extended, it’s critical that drivers are not overworked or driving while fatigued.
