customers. Melissa Esham shares about her experience, how she is helping our clients & a funny life event.
Background
After being a commercial client for more than 15 years, Melissa joined the Deeley Insurance Group team. As a client, she asked inquisitive
questions about coverages that would challenge even the most seasoned professional. She was super impressed when she received rock star treatment and
well-researched answers. Now she ensures that all Deeley Insurance Group clients get the same level of customer service.
Goals
Melissa is eager to help develop her new role as Community Association Advisor. Her goal is to enhance and develop business relationships with coastal
communities, including Management, Boards and Homeowners. Since she helped run some of the biggest and the well-known associations in Ocean city, Melissa
knows a lot about community associations. In addition, she resides in and is part of our coastal communities.
Life-work experience
Melissa shares, “I grew up in Ocean Pines. In fact — true story — as a young girl I was asked to serve as Miss Ocean Pines Fire Prevention. Unfortunately,
accidentally setting your mom’s kitchen on fire was frowned upon by that organization and I was asked to discontinue my duties. Sure, we can laugh now.
It's a funny story. But I like to think of it as one of many life experiences that has led me to where I am today.”
Community-Family Involvement
As an active member of the Autistic Children’s Support Group of Worcester County, Worcester County Health Council and the Berlin Intermediate School
Improvement Action Committee, Melissa supports her son and their local community.
