Our New Team Member – Rachel Thompson
Excited to announce that Rachel Thompson has joined our Deeley Insurance Group Team as the Training & Development Coordinator. Rachel comes to us from the University of Delaware where she received her B.A. degree in Political Science and Communication. Rachel was chosen to be a member of the Delaware Leader’s Program, where she networked with prominent local leaders, toured many of Delaware’s historic sites, and took a professional etiquette course.
Rachel has been busy since starting on the team. She has helped develop and implemented Deeley Insurance Group University. She has successfully put all employees on an educational track to learn more and be well rounded insurance agents. She has been named Dean of Students!
Although here for only a few months, we have loved working with Rachel and these are some of the reasons why:
1. She is calm as a cucumber. In all situations, she has shown a calm ability to tackle difficult challenges.
2. If you are trying to write a blog/email/policy manual, she can read it to see if it makes sense, and often streamlines and beautifies everything she touches.
3. You need someone to plant flowers for a community service project? Walk in a Relay for Life Event? Run a work wellness program? Volunteerism is embedded in Rachel's character!
