Thank you Mr. Laws for bringing Avery, an A/SC&D family member, home safely from his first day of school.
As a Mom – one of the scariest things I do is put my kid on the school bus. I have great admiration for each of my son’s bus drivers –shout out to Mr. Hudson, Ms. Whaley, and Mr. Timmons. We love all bus drivers who drive a bus load full of kids to and from school safely every day.
Huge thanks to our Transportation clients who understand the struggles of our school bus drivers and do what they can to keep our roads safe.
Berkley Fleet Services offers this great advice to all drivers – please share with family and friends.
•Watch for children congregating at bus stops.
•Slow down approaching school zones. It’s the law.
•Expect and plan for children to be inattentive and dart out in front of you.
•When you see the school bus using red flashers and a stop sign, don’t attempt to pass. Treat that school bus like gold.
•Double-check those intersections and crosswalks.
Thanks for reading and please share. When does school start again?
