Deeley Insurance Group wants to recognize Nichole Scott of Delaware Tech who earned a score of 172 and third place in the 5-axle category at the Delaware Truck Driving Championship.
Nichole was the only female in the competition and the youngest competitor at 18 years of age. Nichole obtained her CDL license this year and will be working in the field, not driving, until she turns 21 years of age and can be hired by a commercial company. As driver shortages remain a problem, it was great to see a young female interested in the profession and we wish her luck in her very bright future.
Nichole graduated from the Delaware Tech program. Her success highlights how important that program in developing new drivers in the future.
