The MVA has recently notified over 250 immigrant Commercial Drivers License (CDL) holders that they needed to provide proof of citizenship or their license would be suspended.
Drivers must supply one of the following to the MVA:
- US Birth Certificate
- US Passport
- US Certificate of Citizenship or Naturalization
- Consular Report of Birth Abroad
- Permanent Resident Card
Carriers can check the MVA website to determine if any drivers have a suspended license.
Remind your drivers to make sure they comply with any letter from the MVA so they can stay on the road!
