The governor of Nevada placed the license plate on the first autonomous truck and then took the first ride. Self-driving trucks are coming, although only two
currently exist in the world.
Interesting info:
- Autonomous self-driving trucks still need a driver.
- When the truck is driving there is a tablet for the driver – email, texting, You Tube, etc.
- Fuel Economy and Safety will improve with this truck.
