Deeley Insurance Group was proud to sponsor the 22nd Annual Poor Girls Open.
2015 has been a great year for women in fishing. It was also a great time for the American Cancer Society who received $85,000 from the Poor Girls Open Fishing Tournament.
Captain Steve Harmon of Bahia Marina started this tournament as a fun and affordable way for local female waitresses and bartenders to participate in a catch and release fishing tournament. Staying true to the generosity of the Ocean City community, the event raises money to benefit breast cancer research. The 22nd annual Poor Girls Open just wrapped!
Congrats to the winners on the Reel Joy and to all the participants who help win the fight against cancer.
Thanks for reading. There is plenty of time to fit in some fishing before the weather changes. Are you headed out?
